Imagine...

Your IEP Review has been completed, and you now have a clear plan for

handling

your biggest IEP concerns...

I want an IEP Review!

Do I Need an IEP Review ?

An IEP review can help you if...

You're not sure how an IEP works...

An IEP Review can clarify what is in the document, help you understand if its being followed, and encourage you to think about where you might want to make changes.

You want to better understand or raise a specific issue with your child's team...

Even if you're not new to the process, an IEP Review can help you think through the best ways to address concerns or sticking points.

You've had a transition...

If you're comfortable attending a meeting, but you've had a transition or your child's team has changed, an IEP Review would help you feel more prepared to discuss the document.

Three Steps to the IEP Review

Step 1.

Getting started

  • You will receive a "welcome packet" and some simple paperwork to complete. You will need to provide a copy of your child's current IEP (including any addendums).

Step 2.

The review process

After receiving your child's IEP, I will review the document thoroughly. I will provide you with a detailed report that addresses your concerns, recommends next steps, and includes:

  • suggestions for improving the IEP overall
  • ways to incorporate your thoughts and suggestions in the process and in the IEP
  • identification of areas in need of clarification or procedures for accountability

The report will be delivered electronically.

Step 3.

The follow-up meeting

After I complete the review, we will schedule a meeting to discuss the report at length (approximately 45 minutes to an hour). You are now ready to move forward with your plans.

Please allow two weeks to complete the entire IEP Review.  Availability permitting, the process can be completed sooner. A rush charge may apply.

Hello!

I'm Tracy - Founder of Miller IEP Solutions

The IEP is an intimidating document - it's 20-plus pages of acronyms, checkboxes and data references that are meant to "describe" your child in detail. It holds the key to a critical piece of your child's future.

Its important to remember, the IEP represents a team-guided process, and you, as a parent, are a critical member of your child's team. The more you know about the document, the better prepared you are to advocate for the changes it needs..

I would be happy to review your child's IEP, share my knowledge and experience with you, and work together to develop the IEP that your child needs.
